Recide, (Deputy National Statistician), Officer-in-Charge, Philippine Statistics Authority addressed to Ms. Monalisa Cañedo-Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Tandag City, this Province informing that he received SP Resolution No. XVI-225, Series of 2016 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur entitled “Requesting the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Central Office, to Exempt the Beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Beneficiaries from Paying Fees on Obtaining Birth Certificates, Marriages Certificates, Death Certificates and Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) for the Province of Surigao del Sur”. He expressed his deep sorrow that the request of the Province cannot be granted because the office has tied-up with a private company in collecting fees for any of the documents. He then adviced that if certain beneficiary of 4Ps requestsauthenticationof personal recordswith PSA, the cost for copy of issuance can be shouldred by the concerned DSWD or Local Government Unit (LGU).

Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Tandag City dated May 2, 2017 acknowledging receipt of undated letter endorsing Resolution No. 431-17 of this Province, entitled “Supporting Resolution No. 9 Dated January 16, 2017 of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte, Entitled: A Resolution Commending and Strongly Supporting the Move of Senator Manny Pacquiao and Representative Tobias Tiangco Urging Congress to Amend the Law that Allows Electricity Distributors to Charge Loss and Stolen Electricity to Customers and Urge the Present Committee Chairman on Energy, House of Representatives, to Prioritize this Bill.” He informed that they have referred the letter to the House Committee on Energy and to the Office of Hon.
