9. Order from Atty. Anna Liza G. Logan, Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs, Office of the President, Malacañang, dated July 28, 2025 relative to OP-IAD-25-D-026 (Administrative Case No. 08-2024) in connection of the April 3, 2025 Notice of Appeal and Appeal Memorandum of Betty Ensomo-Pimentel, Municipal Mayor of Tago, Surigao del Sur, assailing the 28 January 2025 Resolution of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur in Administrative Case No. 08 finding her administratively liable for Nonfeasance and meted with a penalty of 30 days suspension. The latter informed the Body that to enable the Office to act on the appeal without necessarily giving due course thereto, it is hereby directed that: 1. Within fifteen (15) days from receipt of the Order, for appellees to submit their comments to the Appeal Memorandum, the comment shall (a) point out the insufficiencies or inaccuracies in appellant’s statement of facts, and (b) state the reason why the appeal should be denied or dismissed. Copies of appellees’ Comments shall be served on appellant with proof of service submitted to the Office; and 2. Within fifteen (15) days from receipt hereof, for the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur to forward to the Office the complete records of the case (or certified copies thereof) with each page consecutively numbered and initialed by the custodian of the records together with a summary of proceedings thereon from the date of filing of the complaint up to its transmittal to this Office in chronological order indicating the action taken, incidents resolved, and listing of all pleadings, motions, manifestations, annexes, exhibits, and other papers or documents filed by the contending parties, the corresponding orders, resolutions, and decisions as required under Memorandum Circular No. 123, s. 1991 of the Office of the President, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, dated July 29, 2025 in reference to SP Resolution No. 3163-25 entitled “Earnestly Requesting the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) for the Construction of Fishing Port/Pier in Barangay Diatagon/St. Christine, Municipality of Lianga, Surigao del Sur”.
