Josafat, Jr., City Chieftain/Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, informing the Body that the Mandaya Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) Tribe of Second (2nd) District is now ready for the Selection Process for Provincial IPMR since the Manobo term will be ending based on the implemented agreement, for the Body’s information.

Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Province of Surigao del Sur, in reference to Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 2555-24 entitled “Earnestly Requesting Atty. Jay Daniel R. Santiago, General Manager, Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) for an Assistance for the Expansion, Utilization and Development for Port Tabon, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur”. The latter informed the Body that they have requested the Port Management Office in Surigao to evaluate the request within the context of the Development Plan for the Port of Tabon as well as the port development requirements of the entire Province of Surigao del Sur, for the Body’s information.

2.Letter from Mr. Samuel P. Naungayan, Graft Investigation and Prosecution Officer III, Acting Director, Case Records, Evaluation Monitoring and Enforcement Bureau, Office of the Ombudsman, Area Office for Mindanao, Earth Corner Libra Street, GSIS Heights Matina, Davao City dated November 11, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Conrad C. Cejoco acknowledging receipt of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur Resolution No. 1404-23 (Series of 2023) Re: “Earnestly Requesting the Office of the Ombudsman for Mindanao for an Investigation Relative to the Demolition of Pagoda, Jose Rizal Monument and War Veteran’s Market at Tago Plaza in the Municipality of Tago, Province of Surigao del Sur. He informed the Body that the complaint raising the issue same had been filed and docketed in their Office on August 2024. He further informed the Body that they cannot disclosed its status or the parties involved considering that as per their Citizens Charter, disclosure may only be given to the parties, their counsels or Authorized Representatives. He added that any other person may, however, request for case information but the same is subject to the written approval of the Ombudsman, for the Body’s information.
