4. Notice from Atty. Michael L. Garcia, Acting Clerk of the Commission, En Banc, Commission on Election (COMELEC), Manila dated September 12, 2024, relative to SPC No. 23-157 (BRGY) regarding to the Correction of Manifest Error as petitioned by the Barangay Board of Canvassers (BBOC) of Barangay Bagyang, San Miguel, Surigo del Sur. The latter requested the Election Officer (EO) of the Municipality of San Miguel to print and personally serve the Resolution to the parties and directed to submit the Affidavit of Service and Acknowledgment Receipt within three (3) days from receipt of this Order to the Office of the Clerk of the Commission via e-mail. Attached is the copy of the said Resolution which was promulgated on September 11, 2024 by the Commission (En Banc) in the above-mentioned case, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

Ordinance No. 2024-28 dated August 13, 2024 of the Municipality of Lingig, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Creating the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) as a New Department of the Municipal Government of Lingig, Surigao del Sur, Subsequently Creating Different Positions, Providing Mechanisms, Appropriation of Funds and Other Purposes Thereof”.

1. 1st Indorsement from Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, this Province dated September 16, 2024, forwarding to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the basic communication dated August 14, 2024 from Mr. Nenito C. Jariel, Jr., Director, Energy Resource Development Bureau, Department of Energy (DOE), in response to the Provincial Resolution No. 2068-24 entitled “Earnestly Requesting His Excellency President Ferdinand ‘Bong-Bong’ Romualdez Marcos, Jr., Thru Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla, Department of Energy (DOE) for the Extension of Small-Scale Coal Mining Permits in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur”. The latter informed the Body that the aforesaid Resolution was forwarded to the Mindanao Field Office (MFO) for their appropriate action as concerns on the small-scale coal mining activities in Mindanao falls within the jurisdiction of the above-mentioned Field Office pursuant to the DOE Department Order No. DO2018-03-0004 or the “Decentralization of the Department of Energy Implementing Institutional Strengthening and Allowing Full Devolution of General and Specific Functions to its Field Offices”, for the Body’s information.
