5. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated August 13, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members, Office of the Provincial Council thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of a Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution authorizing the Provincial Governor to enter into and sign a Letter of Agreement (LOA), for and in behalf of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur with the Department of Agriculture (DA) – PhilRice Agusan Branch, represented by Mr. Gerardo F. Estoy, Jr., PhD, Branch Director, for the implementation of the following, viz:
1. Distribution of Certified Seeds (CS) of Inbred Rice Varieties and Complementary Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Materials;
2. PalaySikatan: The RCEF Technology Demonstration of Recommended Inbred Rice Varieties and Mechanized Farming System; and
3. Development of Fertilizer Recommendations for Provinces under the RCEF Seed Program, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

6. 1st Indorsement from Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Provincial Vice Governor this Province dated August 15, 2024 forwarding to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, the basic communication dated March 15, 2024 from Ms. Shirley S. Retanal, MBA., OIC – General Manager, Surigao del Sur Electric Cooperative I, Inc. (SURSECO I), submitting to this Body the Application for the Approval and Confirmation of Capital Expenditure Plan for Year 2024 to 2026 of SURSECO I”. Attached is a copy of application documents of SURSECO I, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

7. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated August 15, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, requesting for the passage of an Ordinance creating the position of Dentist III, Salary Grade-19 at Marihatag District Hospital, Municipality of Marihatag, this Province, for inclusion in the Annual Budget of the Province of Surigao del Sur for the ensuing Fiscal Year 2025, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
8. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated August 16, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of appropriate legislation adopting the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Pattern of the Offices and Departments of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur (PGSDS). The latter informed the Body that the documents include the full structure of all units, both existing and proposed, along with the job descriptions of the position contained therein, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
9. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated August 16, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of an appropriate legislation adopting the implementation the 2024 Edition of the Citizen’s Charter of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur (PGSDS). The latter informed the Body that the book sets the service standards of all the Offices and Departments of the PGSDS in view of achieving transparency, efficiency and productivity among the workforce of the provincial government, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

10. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated August 1, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of the appropriate legislative measure adopting the Updated 2023 – 2025 Capacity Development Agenda of the Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur (PGSDS) incorporating the additional capacity development interventions for the period January – June 2024, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
