2. 1st Indorsement from Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Provincial Vice Governor, this Province dated August 7, 2024, forwarding to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, the basic communication dated July 30, 2024 from Atty. Marie Antoniette D. Diaz, Senior Vice President, Member Services Operations Sector, Office of the Senior Vice President, Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) Pag-IBIG Fund, Makati City, as a response to Resolution No. 1654-24 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of this Province, requesting for the suspension of the increase in Pag-IBIG Fund contributions. Atty. Diaz informed the Body that the recent increase in Pag-IBIG contribution stands on perfectly legal ground and was already deferred three times in the following years until 2024. Accordingly, it has placed short-term financial strain for workers, however it is a necessary step to ensure long-term sustainability of the Fund and to provide greater benefits to all its workers, for the Body’s information.
3. 1st Indorsement from Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Provincial Vice Governor, this Province dated August 5, 2024, forwarding to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, the basic communication dated July 9, 2024 from Atty. Sunshine Charry A. Fajarda, Assistant Secretary, Office of the Secretary, Department of Education (DepEd), Pasig City, as a response to Resolution No. 1864-24 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of this Province, requesting for the construction of a one-storey, four classroom building in Cambatong Elementary School, Barangay Cambatong, Municipality of Hinatuan, this Province.
