3. Letter from Engr. Annabelle R. Pangan, Chief, Education Facilities Division, Office of the Chief, Department of Education (DepEd), Pasig City dated July 10, 2024 addressed to Mr. Lorenzo O. Macasocol, Schools Division Superintendent, Schools Division of Surigao del Sur, this Province, copy furnished this Body, in reference to the letter of Atty. Zuleika T. Lopez, Undersecretary and Chief of Staff, Office of the Vice President relative to the request of the Honorable Council of the Province of Surigao del Sur, requesting their end for the construction of classroom building at Cambatong Elementary School, Barangay Cambatong, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The latter informed the Body that the request was already endorsed to the concerned Department in accordance with the Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 36, S. 2022, entitled “Protocols and Guidelines on the Submission, Receipt and Processing of Requests Related to the School Building Program” that was issued last July 31, 2022, in order to assist the proponent in fulfilling the requirements stipulated in the aforesaid Deped Order for possible funding in the ensuing years’ school building program. He further informed the Body that the Schools Division Office through the Division Engineer was advised to review the request according to the prioritization made in the Comprehensive School Facilities Development Plan (CSFDP) of the Division as per DepEd Order No. 18, S. 2023 entitled “Revised Multi-Year Guidelines on the Allocation, Receipt, Utilization, Monitoring and Reporting of the Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF)”, for the Body’s information.
