12. Letter from RD. Maria Loisella E. Lucino, CESO IV, Regional Director, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Regional XIII – CARAGA Region, Butuan City dated February 16, 2024 addressed to all City/Provincial Directors relatice to the Memorandum dated February 14, 2024, with Subject: Prevention of the Proliferation of Unauthorized Manufacture, Sale, Distribution, and Use of Uniforms, Insignias, and Other Accoutrements of the Philippine National Police (PNP). The latter informed the Body that despite of the legal provisions outlined in Article Nos. 177 and 179 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Presidential Decree No. 38, the PNP has reported numerous crime incidents involving individuals who falsely pose as Police Officers by wearing counterfeit PNP uniforms to engage nefarious activities. Anent this, the latter strongly encouraged the Local Government Units (LGUs) thru their respective Sanggunians for the enactment of an Ordinance that geared towards implementing enduring measures for individuals applying for licenses to operate local business enterprises and establishments, especially those engaged in the manufacture, sale and distribution of PNP uniforms, insignias and other accoutrements, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
13. Ordinance No. 03 dated January 30, 2024 of the Municipality of Lianga, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Prohibiting Fish and Meat Vendors (Licensed, Non-Licensed and Transient) to Sell Fish, Meat and Similar Products Outside the Public Market, this Municipality and Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof”.

Further, the Decision/Resolution of the 20th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur on Boundary Dispute between the Municipality of Tago and the City of Tandag, all of this Province will be promulgated on March 5, 2024 (Tuesday) at 9:00 o’clock in the morning at the SP Session Hall, Legislative Building, Capitol Hills, Telaje, Tandag City, this Province.
