2. Ordinance No. 26 dated December 29, 2023 of the Municipality of Carmen, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Authorizing the Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Carmen, Surigao del Sur to Use Savings for Augmentation in Accordance with the Local Government Code of 1991 in the Amount of Six Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (Php640,000.00)” .

Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of a Resolution designating the Barangay Health Workers of Surigao del Sur as Barangay-Level Health Education and Promotion Officers (HEPOs) for the Implementation of Health Promotion Policies, Programs, and Activities in the community, providing Governance Structure, and Appropriating Funds Therefor, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

8. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province, dated January 8, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members, Office of the Provincial Council thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of a Resolution adopting the Health Promotion Framework Strategy 2030 in the Health System of the Province, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, requesting for the passage of a Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution authorizing the Provincial Governor to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), represented by Mr. Melquiades A. Robles, General Manager, for the establishment of a PCSO Desk in the Malasakit Center of Lianga District Hospital, Municipality of Lianga, this Province, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

10. Letter from Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province, dated January 8, 2024 addressed to the Honorable Members, Office of the Provincial Council thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, pertaining to Surigao del Sur’s Resolution No. 1389-S-2023 entitled “Earnestly Requesting All Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members in the Provinces of the Republic of the Philippines to Pass a Resolution in their Locality Entitled ‘Requesting the House of the Representatives Particularly on the Committee on Indigenous Peoples to Propose a House Bill Amending R.A. 7160 by Including a Provision of 10% Allocation in the Local Budget Intended for the Development Projects Inside the Ancestral Domain Areas’”. The latter informed the Body that the aforesaid Resolution was transmitted to their Office and delivered upon by the 11^th Sangguniang Panlalawigan during its 71^st Regular Session held on December 11, 2023 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Conference Room, Legislative Building, Trece Martires City, Cavite, for the Body’s information.

2. Letter from Ms. Mary Jane L. Dominguez, Head, Permit Section, for and in behalf of Atty. Archie Edsel C. Asuncion, Chief, Water Rights Division, National Water Resources Board, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Diliman, Quezon City dated November 24, 2023, addressed to the Provincial Secretary, Province of Surigao del Sur, furnishing a copy of Water Permit Application No. XIII-2023-11-031 filed by the Barangay Local Government Unit of Barangay Ganayon, Municipality of Lianga, Surigao del Sur, requesting the Office for posting of the said application on the Bulletin Board and shall remain posted for a period of fifteen (15) days from receipt hereof, for the Body’s information.
