5. Letter from Chariss Jo M. Dela Cruz, Branch Manager, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) dated April 13, 2023 addressed to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province in relation to the Reply of GSIS Management dated February 23, 2023 pertaining to the request for the establishment of a Satellite Office thru Resolution No. 471-22 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur. They mentioned that the management has resolved an alternative set up desk at the City Government Office of Bislig City. There will be a GSIS Personnel that will man the Service Desk every Third Wednesday of the Month where Members can similarly make inqueries, file claim and loan applications. The Service Desk Personnel may also release checks, UMID eCards, Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR) and attend to other concerns of members and pensioners. The latter then would like to request provision for office space with strong internet connections, tables and chairs for their Personnel, transacting members and pensioners and available electric Outlets for the Electronic Equipment. The launching of the service desk will be on April 26, 2023, Wednesday and they will directly coordinate to finalize logistics regarding the matter, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
