10. Resolution No. 342 dated November 8, 2022 of the Municipality of Carmen, this Province entitled “A Resolution Humbly Asking the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Additional Definite Written Statements Relative to the Boundary Issue Between Carmen, Surigao del Sur and Lanuza, Surigao del Sur”.
11. Ist Indorsement of Mr. Esmeraldo S. Raymundo, Provincial Administrator, for and in behalf of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province, dated November 9, 2022, indorsing to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, a copy of the letter from Mr. Joseph D. Plaza, PESE, DPA, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member, Chairperson, Provincial Task Force on Boundary Disputes, District 2, Province of Agusan del Sur, addressed to Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, dated November 8, 2022 informing that the Provincial Task Force on Boundary Disputes of the Province of Agusan del Sur has just been reconstituted and is still now on its exploratory stage, considering the overwhelming number of contested areas among neighboring Provinces. The latter is inviting the Task Force on Boundary Disputes of the Province of Surigao del Sur to a face to face meeting on November 23, 2022 (Wednesday) at Gran Ola Surf Camp Inc., Lawis, Banahao, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, which will start at 10:00 o’clock in the morning. He hoped that the meeting will give them all an avenue to meet and greet, and to have a pleasant discussion on the probable actions of both Task Force, as to how the current disputes between the provinces be settled, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
12. Ist Indorsement of Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, this Province dated November 10, 2022, forwarding to Mr. Edgar G. Perez II, J.D., Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, a copy of the letter from Hon. Jane V. Plaza, Municipal Mayor, Municipality of Carmen, Surigao del Sur, addressed to the Honorable Members, Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Manuel O. Alameda, Sr., Vice Governor, all of this Province, dated November 10, 2022, regarding the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 247-22 of the Province of Surigao del Sur entitled “Requiring the Local Government Units of Lanuza and Carmen, All of this Province to Submit their Respective Position Papers and Pertinent Documents Together with Corresponding Affidavits of Witnesses Relative to their Respective Boundaries Within 15 Days from Receipt Hereof for Perusal of the 20th Sangguniang Panlalawigan”. The latter was asking due consideration that the Local Government of Carmen cannot submit its position paper on time, unless it can receive the documents which were subject of SB Resolution No. 342, Series of 2022 submitted in the SP Office dated November 9, 2022. She said that their Municipality has no intention to defy the order as provided on the above SP Resolution nor delay the investigation but their concern is that the LGU-Carmen must be furnished with the copies stated on the above SB Resolution No. 342, for them to be able to properly prepare their position paper, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

13. Ordinance No. 06 dated September 13, 2022 of the Municipality of Lianga, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Amending Section III, Item No. 1 and Addendum to Section IV of Municipal Ordinance No. 02 Series of 2019 Otherwise Known as an Ordinance Imposing and Prescribing the Environmental Fees Upon Entry to Inland and Beach Resorts and Similar Establishments in the Municipality of Lianga, Surigao del Sur from Ten Pesos (P10.00) Per Head Into Twenty Pesos (P20.00) Per Head”.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Peace and Order, Public Safety and Anti-Illegal Drugs will hold a Public Hearing regarding the Proposed Ordinance entitled “Prohibiting Drone Operation Thirty (30) Meters from Jail Facilities in the Province of Surigao del Sur, Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof and for Other Purposes” on November 16, 2022 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Legislative Building, Session Hall, Capitol Hills, Telaje, Tandag City. All Sangguninang Panlalawigan Members are invited to attend the Public Hearing, as this will give them the opportunity to express their views, comments and recommendations on the matter.
The 21st Regular Session of the 20th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province will be held on November 22, 2022 at 9:00 o’clock in the morning at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, Legislative Building, Capitol of the South, Barangay Kahayag, Bislig City, this Province.
