10. Letter of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province, addressed to the Honorable Members, Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Librado C. Navarro, Vice Governor, all of this Province dated March 10, 2022, requesting for the passage of an Ordinance creating the various positions as enumerated, together with the attached letter from the Human Resource Management Officer, this Province, for the Body’s appropriate action.

“A Resolution Requesting the Honorable Governor, Mayor and Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Panglungsod of the Different LGU’s of Surigao del Sur to Allocate and Provide Funds Establishing Buying Station for the Procurement of Palay in Key Grains Areas to Support the Low Price of Palay Produced by the Rice Farmers”, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.

Basanes, District Engineer, Surigao del Sur I, District Engineering Office, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Tandag City, this Province dated March 4, 2022 addressed to the Honorable Provincial Board Members of the Province of Surigao del Sur, furnishing a copy of the Status Report of Project Implementation undertaken by the DPWH-SDS 1st District Engineering Office, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur for the Month of February, 2022, for the Body’s reference and guidance.
2. DBM Regional Office XIII Advisory No. 1, dated January 24, 2022 of Ms. Maria Fe D. Jagna, Regional Director, Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Region XIII, CARAGA, Butuan City entitled “Interim Guidelines in the Submission of Agency Budgetary Requests, Inquiries, Communications, Budget and Financial Accountability Reports (BFARs) and All Others in the DBM Regional Office XIII During the State of Continuing COVID-19 Pandemic”, for the Body’s information and appropriate action.
3. Letter of Engr. Noel R. Oclarit, District Engineer, Surigao del Sur II, District Engineering Office, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Bislig City, this Province dated March 1, 2022 addressed to the Honorable Provincial Board Members of the Province of Surigao del Sur, referring to Resolution No. 2159-22 Series of 2022 January 18, 2022 requesting a Program of Works and Detailed Engineering Design for a “Fish Landing Project in the City of Bislig in front of the Bureau of Fish Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in the City Economic Enterprises Development Office (CEEDO)”. The latter informed the Body that they cannot provide the said documents as of this moment until such time that the preparation for Pre-Detailed Engineering activities of FY 2022 Budget is completed as the priority undertakings of the department.
4. Letter of Mrs. Gregoria T. Su, Ph.D., Schools Division Superintendent, Department of Education, Bislig City dated March 9, 2022, addressed to Atty. Glenn P. Plaza, SP Member, Chairman, Committee on Good Government, Public Ethics and Accountability, Legislative Building, Capitol of the South, Bislig City, this Province, referring to the latter’s letter dated March 2, 2022, regarding the invitation for the Joint Meeting of the Committees on Good Government Public Ethics and Accountability/Laws and Justice and Human Rights scheduled on March 8, 2022, asking for a consideration that they have equally important scheduled activities to be prioritized. Further, Mrs. Su explained on the presence of Ms. Maria Naome M. Oropilla, as her representative on the last meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) of Bislig City held January 12, 2022. She said that their Office is an Official Member of the CPOC, and would response to activities and calls for meetings. Ms. Oropilla was there to represent on her behalf and shall act accordingly based on the agenda listed in the invitation. Regarding on the issuance of Resolution No. 01 of the CPOC, during the meeting, she reiterated the non partisan stand of the Department of Education and they do not want any of their personnel involved in any political strife. She hoped that this would clear Ms. Oropilla’s name on her attendance on the said meeting. The DepEd Bislig will continue to provide quality and accessible basic education to all the learners of Bislig City, and they hoped that their strong partnership with the local government and line agencies will sustain without fear and favour, for the Body’s information.

The 127th Regular Session of the 19th Sangguniang Panlalawigan will be held on March 22, 2022 at 9:00 o’clock in the morning at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, Legislative Building, Capitol of the South, Kahayag, Bislig City, this Province.
