Alameda, Sr., Temporary Presiding Officer, Office of the Provincial Council, this Province, acknowledging receipt of Provincial Council Resolution No. 1554-21 entitled “Urging the Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Religious Sectors and Other Entities of the Philippine Government to Respect the Customary Laws of the Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs)/Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and Allow the IP Communities Through the Provincial Tribal Council of the Province of Surigao del Sur to Resolve Issues in Accordance with the Customary Practices of the Tribal Communities on the Killing of the Three (3) Members of the Manobo Tribe in Sitio New Decoy, Barangay Diatagon, Lianga, Province of Surigao del Sur”. The latter informed the Body that the said SP Resolution was already endorsed to the Regional Office of the CHR, CARAGA, for their information and appropriate action.

Bernabe, III, Undersecretary, Office of the Executive Secretary, Office of the President of the Philippines, Malacañang Palace, Manila, dated August 17, 2021, forwarding to the Department of National Defense, for appropriate action copy furnished the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this Province, SP Resolution No. 1555-21 (s. 2021) dated June 29, 2021 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur entitled “Earnestly Requesting the Commander in Chief, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) President Rodrigo Roa Duterte thru General Cirilito E. Sobejana, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief, Quezon City to Conduct an Investigation and Give Due Process and Justice on the Killing of the Three (3) Members of the Manobo Tribe in Sitio New Decoy, Barangay Diatagon, Municipality of Lianga, Province of Surigao del Sur”, for the Body’s information.

7. Returned letter from the Philippine Postal Corporation mailed by the Tanggapan ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Capitol Hills, Telaje, Tandag City, this Province, addressed to Mr. Pedrito M. Aragon, Senior Vice President/Compliance Officer, PICOP Resources, Inc., 2280, 2/F Moredel Bldg., Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City containing SP Resolution No. 1653-21 entitled “Earnestly Requesting the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Davao City Thru its Chairman Emmanuel “Manny” F. Piñol to Facilitate a Meeting with the Court Appointed Receiver, Stakeholders and Creditors of PICOP Resources, Incorporated (PRI), Bislig City for the Possibility of Creating a New Corporation Comprised of the Aforementioned Parties to Develop the PRI Mill Site as an Industrial Estate”, for a reason that the addressee has already moved out from his address, for the Body’s information.
