5. Letter of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province addressed to the Honorable Members, Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Librado C. Navarro, Vice Governor, all of this Province, dated September 13, 2021, in connection with the above-captioned re: “Lot No. 4189, covered by Tax Declaration No. 19-01-0021-1965, measuring Four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Three (4,653) Square Meters” and currently being utilized by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 27 (hereafter RTC 27). The Supreme Court has allocated funds for the construction of Court Buildings in the entire country. However, the land to be constructed upon must be owned by the Supreme Court, to justify utilization of funds. Further, for this purpose the latter said that Lot No. 4189 must be donated to the Supreme Court for the construction of the additional Court buildings. Hence, they are requesting the Body for a passage of Resolution authorizing the Provincial Governor to enter into a Contract of Donation with the Supreme Court over Lot No. 4189.
6. Ordinance No.016 dated August 25, 2021 of the City of Tandag, this Province entitled “Amending Ordinance No. 007, Series of 2021 Entitled: “Granting Franchise to Wild Hawk Gaming and Amusement, OPC, Tandag City, Province of Surigao del Sur, to Engage in the Operation, Management and Marketing of Commercial Cockfighting Through Live Streaming and Other Social Media Platforms and Accept or Facilitate Betting Through Telephone, Internet and Various Electronic Machines and Collect Fees for Such Purpose Within the City of Tandag” by Deleting the Phrase ‘Collection of Proceeds’ Under Section 6 of the Same”.
