 1. Letter of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province dated June 7, 2021 addressed to Hon. Librado C. Navarro, Vice Governor thru the Honorable Members, Sangguniang Panlalawigan, all of this province, requesting to pass a Resolution “Requesting the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) to Release the Local Government Support Fund - Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF - FA) in the Amount of Fifteen Million Pesos (Php15,000,000.00) for the Construction of Eleven (11) Multipurpose Buildings for: Barangay San Jose, Municipality of Barobo, Barangay Sudlon, Municipality of Barobo, Barangay Ugoban, Municipality of Tagbina, Barangay Santa Juana, Municipality of Tagbina, Barangay Kahayagan, Municipality of  Tagbina, Barangay Tagongon, Municipality of Tagbina, Barangay Sayon, Municipality of Tagbina, Barangay Baculin, Municipality of Hinatuan, Barangay Maharlika, Municipality of Hinatuan, Barangay Port Lamon, Municipality of Hinatuan and Purok 11 Calubian, Barangay Tabon, City of Bislig, all of the Province of Surigao del Sur”, for the Body’s favorable action.

2. Appropriation Ordinance No. RP-05 dated June 22, 2021 of the Municipality of Tago, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Augmenting the Account Food Supplies Expense in the Amount of One Million Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Pesos (P1,470,000.00), to be Taken from Training Expenses Amounting to One Million Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (P1,220,000.00) and Agricultural and Marine Supplies Expenses Amounting to Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (P250,000.00), All Under the 5% Calamity Fund”.

3. Ordinance No. 7 dated May 11, 2021 of the Municipality of Barobo, this Province entitled “Providing Suppletory Provisions on Sections 5, 7, 10 and 11 of Municipal Ordinance No. 29, Series of 2020 Entitled: “Allowing Motorized Tricycles and Other Slow-Moving Vehicles to Traverse Along the National Highways Within the Municipality of Barobo, and for Other Purposes, and Providing Fines and Penalties Thereof”.

1.  Ist Indorsement dated June 18, 2021 of Mr. Esmeraldo S. Raymundo, Acting Provincial Administrator, for and in behalf of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, indorsing to Mrs. Monalisa C. Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, all of this Province the basic communication from Mr. Nonito M. Tamayo, CESO IV, Regional Executive Director, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), CARAGA Region XIII, Butuan City, dated May 31, 2021, addressed to the Honorable Provincial Governor thru Mrs. Marites Coma Arreza, Assistant Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, acknowledging receipt of the copy of SP Resolution No. 1486-21, Series of 2021 which earnestly requested their Department to conduct a biodiversity survey in Tinuy-an Falls Protected Landscape to scientifically establish different species in that area. The latter then invited  a Representative from the office during the conduct of the 2nd Semester Biodiversity Monitoring System (BMS) to apprise on the current status of biodiversity within the Tinuy-an  Falls Protected Landscape.

2. Ist Indorsement dated June 23, 2021 of Mrs. Eunice S. Tribunal, Executive Assistant IV, Vice Governor’s Office, for and in behalf of Hon. Librado C. Navarro, Vice Governor, this Province, forwarding to Mrs. Monalisa C. Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, all of this Province, the letter of Mr. Silvestre H. Bello III, Secretary, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Intramuros, Manila, dated June 9, 2021, acknowledging receipt of SP Resolution No. 1403-21 entitled “Earnestly Requesting His Excellency Rodrigo Roa Duterte, President, Republic of the Philippines Through Secretary Silvestre Bello III of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to Fast Track the Resolution of the Rehabilitation Proceedings of Paper Industries Corporation of the Philippines (PICOP) Resources Incorporated (PRI), Mangagoy, Bislig City of the Province of Surigao del Sur”. The latter informed the Body that upon verification of the said Resolution by the Office with the  Clerk of Court of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Makati City, the rehabilitation proceedings of  PICOP,  with docket number SP M-66-25-C, is still pending before Branch 148 of the RTC, of which, the Clerk of Court of the aforesaid  Branch informed them that the rehabilitation case is on-going trial. Further, since the rehabilitation case is a judicial proceedings, he informed the Body that the doctrine of separation of powers restricts the Executive Department from interfering matters within the jurisdiction of the courts of law. Nonetheless, the proper parties for the rehabilitation case may opt to file the appropriate motion to the Court in order to expedite trial and resolution. He then assured the Body that they shall monitor the progress of the rehabilitation proceedings and provide them with the update upon its availability, for the Body’s information.   

3. Ist Indorsement dated June 23, 2021 of Mrs. Eunice S. Tribunal, Executive Assistant IV, Vice Governor’s Office, for and in behalf of Hon. Librado C. Navarro, Vice Governor, this Province, forwarding to Mrs. Monalisa C. Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, all of this Province, the letter of Hon. Ramon Alejandro G. Bungabong, Vice Governor of the Province of Agusan del Norte dated June 15, 2021 regarding their Sanggunian Resolution No. 250-2021 dated June 2, 2021 entitled “Resolution Expressing Support to Resolution No. 1389-21, Series of 2021 from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur, Earnestly Requesting the House of Representatives and the House of the Senate to Review and Revisit the DOH Memorandum No. 2020-0158, Dated March 22, 2020 Relative to the Proper Handling of the Remains of Positive, Suspected and Probable COVID-19 Patients by Not Including the Probable and Suspected Patients”, for the Body’s information.
