Appropriation Ordinance No. 01 dated May 3, 2021 of the Municipality of Carmen, this Province entitled “An Ordinance Authorizing Supplemental Budget No. 01, Calendar Year 2021 Involving an Amount of Twelve Million Five Hundred Seventy-One Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Six Pesos and Sixty Eight Centavos (PhP 12,571,736.68) to Cover Deficiencies in the Annual Budget”.

2. Ordinance No. SG-586 dated April 27, 2021 of the Municipality of Hinatuan, this Province entitled “Augmenting the Amount of One Million Four Hundred Nine Thousand Pesos (P1,409,000.00) for the Construction of Barangay Roads Leading to Emerging Tourist Destination to the Taken from the Construction of Legislative Building Extension Under the 20% Development Fund of the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan, Declaring S.B. Ordinance No. SG-584, Series of 2021 Inoperative”.

1. Letter from Engr. Minda R. Roslinda, District Engineer, Surigao del Sur I, District Engineering Office, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Tandag City, this Province dated May 6, 2021 addressed to the Honorable Provincial Board Members of the Province of Surigao del Sur, furnishing a copy of the Status Report of Project Implementation undertaken by the DPWH-SDS, 1st District Engineering Office, Tandag City, this Province for the Month of April, 2021 for the Body’s reference and guidance.

2. Letter of Mr. Jason C. Teng, Senior Vice President, Office of the Senior Vice President, VisMin Group, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Pasay City, Metro Manila dated April 26, 2021, referring to the recent communication addressed to the President and General Manager, Rolando L. Macasaet, relative to Resolution No. 1376-21, Series of 2021 furnished by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur entitled “Earnestly Requesting Mr. Rolando L. Macasaet, President and General Manager, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Manila Through Ms. Chariss Jo M. Dela Cruz, Branch Head, GSIS Butuan City to Conduct an Investigation on the Alleged Unauthorized Loans of National and Local Employees in the Province of Surigao del Sur with the GSIS”. He informed the Body that the said letter was referred to Ms. Vilma L. Fuentes, Vice President Mindanao, for her appropriate action.

3. Memorandum Order No. 94-2021 dated May 17, 2021 of Hon. Alexander T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor, this Province signed by Mr. Esmeraldo S. Raymundo, Acting Provincial Administrator, for and in behalf of the Provincial Governor, all of this Province designating Mrs. Juliet F. Perez,. Planning Officer IV/Officer In-Charge, Provincial Planning & Development Office (PPDO), as Acting Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, this Province effective immediately. The latter has to assume the duties and responsibilities of the PPDC and is therefore entitled to additional emoluments attendant to the said position such as RATA, for the Body’s information and guidance.

4. Letter of Mr. Jason C. Teng, Senior Vice President, Office of the Senior Vice President, VisMin Group, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Pasay City, Metro Manila dated May 4, 2021, relative to Resolution No. 1368-21, Series of 2021, furnished by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Surigao del Sur regarding request for the establishment of a GSIS Satellite Office in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur. He informed the Body that much of their desire to accommodated the aforesaid request,  they regret that they cannot do so as of this time as they are constrained by procedural policies in matters of organizational structure, manpower complement and operational budget appropriation. He further informed the Body, that they will schedule instead a GSIS Service Desk in the said Area and the GSIS Butuan Branch Office then will be coordinating with the Former regarding the said schedule. In addition to this, they informed also that since the onset of the pandemic, the safety of the members, pensioners and employees are their priority. Because of this, GSIS has initiated various programs to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of service to all its active members and pensioners despite the limitations brought about by COVID-19 resulting to quarantine, lockdown and border restriction, for the Body’s information.
