1. Letter of Ka Oca Santos, COIR, Inc., Diliman, Quezon City dated August 13, 2017 informing his fellowmen that after 30 years, the Supreme Court has finally decided that the 24% SMC shares amounting to P75B “belong to the coconut farmers”. He informed everyone that the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Bill was already passed by the previous Congress but it was not acted into law in the House of Senate due to its adjournment. He then appealed that the aforesaid Bill be passed in the present Congress so that the levy funds could be used for the benefits of the coconut farmers to uplift their living conditions.
