2. Letter of Engr. Leandro H. Gazmin, CESO II, Assistant Secretary for Agribusiness, Office of the Secretary, Department of Agriculture addressed to Mr. Ace R. Orcullo, Acting Secretary, Office of the Provincial Council, this Province dated August 8, 2017 relative to Resolution No. 563-17 requesting the Department of Agriculture to establish a cold storage facility at Barangay Portlamon in the Municipality of Hinatuan, Province of Surigao del Sur. Though, they recognized and appreciated the objective of helping the farmers and fisherfolks, unfortunately, they regret to inform the August Body that the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) has no budget allocations for financing support for new constructions and improvements due to budgetary constraints.
