2. Notice from Ms. Fermina D. Palangpang, Provincial Treasurer, Office of the Provincial Treasurer, this Province, copy furnished this Body the Notice Payment of the 1% Basic Real Property Tax and 1% Special Education Fund in the Province of Surigao del Sur for the Year 2026. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and having adopted and embodied in the Province through Tax Ordinance No. 46-2023 dated August 15, 2023 as the Revised Revenue Code of the Province of Surigao del Sur, the Basic Real Property Tax and the Special Education Fund (SEF) Tax for the Calendar Year 2026 at the tax rate of 1% respectively, shall become due and payable on the 1st day of January. She informed the Body that the said penalty is at the option of the Taxpayers, as follows: 1. 1st installment will be on or before March 31, 2026; 2. 2nd installment is on or before June 30, 2026; 3. 3rd installment is on or before September 30, 2026; and 4. 4th installment is on or before December 31, 2026. The latter informed the Body that the 1% Basic Tax and 1% additional tax for SEF, shall be collected simultaneously, for the Body’s information. 26-05430
