1. Notice of Hearing dated November 22, 2016 from Mr. Adriano B. Consunji, Chief Commission Secretariat, National Telecommunication Commission (NTC), Quezon City underBMC Case No. 2016-253 filed by applicant Ms. Liza Jeanne Laput Lugsanay,the sole proprietor of LJ Cable Network, Bislig City, requesting for the issuance of a Certificate of Authority (CA)to install, operate and maintain a Cable Television (CATV) Systemin Bislig City, Surigao del Sur. The hearing will be done on December 12, 2016 at exactly 10:00 o’clock in the morning (Monday) at the Legal Branch, 3rd Floor, NTC Building, BIR Road, East Triangle, Diliman Quezon City. He furtherinformed the Body that,any partyopposing to the granting of the latter is hereby directed to appear at the scheduled hearing and must file its verified opposition on or before the scheduled hearing and furnish the applicant with a copy of the same.
2. Letter of Atty. Catherine T. Manahan, Chief Legislative Officer, Office of the Senate President,Room 606, GSIS Building, Financial Center, CCP Complex, Pasay City addressed to Ms. Monalisa Cañedo-Su, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan dated November 22, 2016, informing that he was in receipt of SP Resolution No. 215-16 entitled “Urging Congress to Enact a Law Recognizing Unpaid Care Work in the Philippines as a Human Rights Violation and Providing Counter Measures Relative Thereto”. He is implicitly expressing thanks to the Honorable August Body of the Province of Surigao del Sur in behalf of the Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III for the trust and confidence in the Honorable Senator.
3. Memorandum dated November 22, 2016 from Dr. Isabelo R. Montejo, CESO IV, Undersecretary for Field Operation, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Visayas Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City addressed to the Director, Land Management Bureau copy furnished this Body a copy of Memorandum in relation to the letter of Mr. Gregg Neive Tolentino, President of Carromata-Sagbayan-Mahayag Farmers Association (CASAMFA), Inc., dated October 5, 2016 re: Requesting for the amendment of Presidential Proclamation No. 202 and for final survey of the land in favor of the actual occupants. He informed the Body that he already requested the Director of the Land Management Bureau to review and evaluate the same in consonance with the existing laws, rules and regulations and submit a progress report to the Department of Enviroment and Natural Resources for appropriate action, copy furnished the proponent-CASAMAFA, the Municipal, Provincial Local Government Units and the DENR Regional Director.
4. Review letter dated November 2, 2016 from Mr. Ricky L. Sanchez, OIC-Regional Director, Department of Budget and Management, Regional Office XIII (CARAGA), Butuan City addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, thru Honorable Vicente T. Pimentel, Jr., Provincial Governor, this Province informing that Supplemental Budget No. 4 (General Fund) of the Province of Surigao del Sur involving an appropriation of P8,429,555.54 under Appropriation Ordinance No. 15-16 dated October 4, 2016 revealed substantial compliance with the provision of the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act [R.A] No. 7160) and its implementing Rules and Regulations including the rules and regulations of the Budget Operation Mannual (BOM) for Local Government Units 2008 edition. Thus, the same has been declared operative in its entirety effective on the date fix therein subject to the posting requirement under section 59 R.A No. 7160.
